“I want to fly,” says the mole, who is as small as an oak leaf” ...

But...?! – Moles live underground!

That's right. And as everyone knows: moles don't fly!

That is also what the mother says. But ... –

The little mole's longing is so great that he decides to become an "earth bird"...

The poetic and at the same time funny story “The Little Earth Bird” by Oliver Scherz and Eva Muggenthaler tells whether this succeeds and is about longing, dreams, personal goals and the power of imagination. On stage, pohyb's and co. breathe colorful life into this fine encouragement.

In the play, the two actors from pohyb's and co. combine text and images in a playful way, ranging from poetic images to clownish scenes. In their typical blend of facial expressions, gestures and physical acting, the two actors quickly slip into the characters of the story. With slapstick, clownish elements, pantomime, noise and music, and a few costumes and props, they take the audience on a journey full of stumbles, falls and highs.
